Compulsory contractual third party motor insurance is a necessary, vested obligation of each motorist. It covers damages that you may cause to other persons by a traffic accident or by operation of your car. It mainly covers injury or death, property damage and lost profits. This type of insurance does not cover damage to your vehicle.

An insured event can be reported quickly and easily via telephone at 0850 111 117. Damage can be also reported by e-mail, fax, post or in person at the branch closest to the place where the damage occurred.
Option to pay in instalments without a price increase
If an annual premium payment is not convenient for you, you can split your payments into several instalments. You can pay once every 6 months or every 3 months, whichever you prefer. Your premium will remain the same.

Which type of compulsory contractual insurance should I choose?
AUTOMATIK Standard Compulsory contractual insurance covers damages that you cause to the health, property and lost profit as the result of a traffic accident or operation of your vehicle. It also gives you assurance with larger damages because it offers higher limits of payment of a loss than those set by law. In case of injury and death it is 20 million SKK (€663,878.38) and 20 million SKK (€663,878.38) for damage to goods.
AUTOMATIK Plus Compulsory contractual insurance is designed for those clients who want to have the peace of mind of insurance coverage in case of above standard level of damages, whether in Slovakia or abroad, with raised limits of insurance coverage to 60 million SKK (€1,991,635.13) in case of injury or death and to 60 million SKK (€1,991,635.13) for damage to goods. Plus with AUTOMATIK Plus insurance you get the extended range of assistance services absolutely FREE.

Things you should remember:
- If it is possible, in your own interest, call the police
- In a police log sheet, you should express your approval by signing it
- If you disagree with something, express your reservations in your statement about the accident (in Slovak)
- Write down the names and addresses of all participants and witnesses of a traffic accident
- In case of damage to your vehicle, call ASSISTANCE services

- Complete the European Accident Report form, sign it (both you and the other party) and deliver a copy to Generali Slovensko, and also fill in a statement that is part of the brochure “What to do if I have an accident” and deliver it to us
- Report the caused damage to Generali Slovensko within 15 days in case of accident in Slovakia, or within 30 days for an accident abroad.
