Instructions for clients filing claims
Is there an insured event you need to report? You will find several steps to take listed below.
- First of all, you always need to report such event by phone to our Contact Centre - all you have to do is call us at 0850 111 117 (calls from Slovakia), 02/58 276 666 (calls from abroad).

- Events related to damaged crops are to be reported directly at the e-mail address agroskody@gsl.sk
- Inspection of your damaged vehicle will be carried out at our inspection point, closest to the place where the insured event occurred.
- You can also contact us at our branches, where we will provide further information.
- Claim forms can be found directly on this webpage.
- When filing a claim, list your insurance contract number and the Birth Number of the person who purchased the insurance policy in question, in case of damaged vehicles also list the car registration number.
- Briefly characterize the cause and extent of damage. At the same time, list your telephone or e-mail contact.
We also recommend:
- In case you suspect a criminal offence was committed, report this immediately to the Slovak police and wait until their arrival before you start eliminating the consequences.
- Wait with elimination of consequences or repairs of damaged objects until inspection is carried out by a Generali Slovensko technician. Should it be necessary to start such works or repairs earlier due to serious safety or hygienic concerns, make sure to create conclusive documentation of the causes and extent of damage, such as photographs and testimonials by witnesses.
- Make sure you do not make the extent and consequences of an insured event worse by your actions.
